"There has to be a better way
to drive performance."

When we wrote Primed to Perform, we didn’t expect it to take off.

We just wanted to solve a problem we were wrestling with every day: how do you build a company that performs, without burning people out?

At the time, most of the management advice out there boiled down to empty slogans. "Culture eats strategy for breakfast." "People leave managers, not companies." Nice lines.

But no one could explain how to actually lead in a way that created both performance and happiness—at scale.

So we set out to find the answer. We left our jobs, started from scratch, and spent years digging through behavioral science, field research, and organizational case studies.
Eventually, we landed on a breakthrough:

The science of total motivation (ToMo)—a way to measure what drives people, and to design systems that lift performance through play, purpose, and potential.

We called our company Vega Factor. And what began as a book is now a full-stack platform: workshops, consulting, and software—everything leaders need to build high-performing cultures without the cynicism, gimmicks, or guesswork.
