If you would like to export your data from Factor, it's easy to do in just a few steps. Factor allows you to download your data for stacks, cards, their field values, and the most recent post in any workspace.

1. Change your view to table view

Follow the instructions in this help article to create or pivot to a Table layout.

2. Select the data that you want to export

Use the "Show" and "Filter" menus at the top right of the page to select the type of data that you want to be included in your export.

The "Show" menu open on a Table view, with "Filter" (badged 6) and "Layout" beside it. Its tick-boxes decide which columns exist, and therefore what the export contains: under SYSTEM FIELDS, "Owners", "Work stage", "Status (e.g. \"Mirrored\" ...)", "Emoji tag" and "Last updated" are ticked while "Created date" alone is left clear; under TABLE CONTENT, "Last post" and "Add post"; under CUSTOM FIELDS, "Ease of Implementation" and "Expected Impact"; under PLANNING FIELDS, "Start date", "End date", "Duration" and "Progress".

NOTE: If you think anyone - including yourself - will want to export this data again, make sure to save your view for all users for future use of the same layout.

The "Filter" menu, its button badged 6 for the number of filters in force. FILTER CONTROLS offers three buttons — "REAPPLY", "RESET" and "CLEAR" — plus a toggle set to OFF for "Show empty stacks when filtered". Then a SEARCH BOARD box reading "Search cards and stacks...", QUICK FILTERS with live counts ("Due today / past due" 2, "Cards you own" 20, "Stacks you own" 10, "Not updated in the last week" 0), and SYSTEM FIELDS rows that each open a submenu: "Owners", "Priority / stack" (shown part-selected, a dash rather than a tick), "Work stage", "Confidentiality", "Emoji tag", "Stack type" and "Last updated".

3. Download your data.

While still on the Table view, click on the Layout button at the top of the page and locate the Export options at the bottom of the menu.

Click on the export option of your choice (Excel or CSV) to initiate the download.

The "Layout" menu opened on a Table view, with "Export" highlighted at the foot of the list and its submenu flown out to the right offering exactly two formats, "Excel" and "CSV". Above "Export" the menu shows "Layout — Table", "Row height — Small", "Expand all" and "Collapse all"; "NEW STACK" sits in the toolbar to the right. Clicking Excel or CSV is what starts the download.

Voila! Your data will be downloaded to your device.
